Limited Warranty by Manufacturer.

  1. In an unlikely event, scratches, cosmetic unevenness on the bicycle and components due to various reasons like shipping or delivery are not covered in the warranty. The Service Center will do their best to touch up the bikes if needed.

  2. Warranty by the Manufacturer ONLY on bikes sold by gpbikes PTE LTD as the Authorised DAHON Distributor.

  3. Service support will be provided by the Manufacturer and the Authorised Distributor with the manufacturer's original spare parts ONLY on Bikes sold by gpbikes PTE LTD if needed.

  4. For most DAHON Products, the warranty period given by the manufacturer usually ranges from 3 years on manufacturing defects.
    • The Warranty Period will be different depending on different DAHON's Models.
    • Warranty only applies to the bike in the current condition & specification when sold to the customer.
    • Warranty ONLY covers the bicycle frame by the manufacturer.
    • Warranty DOES NOT cover components that are damaged under the hands of an untrained or unauthorised technician for bike services & repairs or other reasons.
    • Warranty does not cover wear and tear items, movable parts, key components and component replacements.
      • Wear & Tear items are defined as; tires, tubes, brake pads, brake and gear cables and housing, chains, gears, grips, and saddles. All of these items are subject to varying wear life depending on use, load, weather, road conditions etc. Premature wear or “defect” will be taken into account in any claim involving a wear item.
      • Replacements or repairs on Movable & other key components which are loosened or damaged after being used for a period of time are not covered in the warranty and are considered as bicycle maintenance.
        • Bicycle Maintenance will be under the Bicycle owner's own expenses.

  5. On other Bicycle Products sold by gpbikes PTE LTD, a 1 year warranty period given by the manufacturer due to manufacturing defects.
    • Warranty only applies to the bike in the current condition & specification when sold to the customer.
    • Warranty ONLY covers the bicycle frame by the manufacturer.

  8. Any modifications that deviate from the original specification at the time the bicycle is sold are the responsibility of the bicycle's owner. The Manufacture and the Service Center are not liable for any issues that may arise, and the warranty may be voided.

  9. If issues arise by any form of repairs, servicing & modifications by untrained or unauthorised technicians, the warranty may be voided. The Service Center have the right to reject the bike depending on the seriousness of the issue.

  10. Warranty will be voided if the bicycles are neglected or used in a manner, not within the manufacturer's recommended use.

  11. We will not install parts & components not sold by us on the bike as it is considered as modification & warranty may be voided.

  12. Warranty Claims are only limited to manufacturing defects. Any manufacturing defects will be examined by the service center to determine whether a warranty claim is necessary.

  13. Warranty Claims does not include installation, transferring of parts, labour charges and freight of items to country or location. All these charges will be under the bicycle's owner own expenses as stated by the Manufacturer.

  18. Kindly NOTE that the warranty applies to the original retail purchaser of the bicycle and is non-transferable.
